The Best Choice for a Dice Casino

Dice games bring a refreshing variation compared to more traditional casino games. You can tactic or play without a bigger strategic plan.

💻 Modern software has evolved tremendously and gives the impression that the dice are spinning right in front of your eyes

🎲 It often takes two to play dice games, but a croupier or software handles everything for you at an online casino

💰 Learning bets can greatly improve your own chances of winning, so a little effort can be very rewarding.

Dice games online - Craps

Traditionally, six-sided dice have been used to be thrown at a casino, but online dice games are also addictive and are now offered by almost all the best online casinos. The most popular dice games online are Craps and Yatzu. Dice games can be played for free as well as for money and their rules are often easy to learn.

It is important to understand that dice games are based on probabilities, with the probability of scoring any of the six eyes in the dice being equal. As the number of dice increases, the probabilities change. When two dice are rolled, the most likely result is the sum of 7. The number seven has more chances than, for example, the number twelve, in which case the dice thrower is forced to get the number six as the result of both dice rolls. Instead, for the number seven, there are six possible combinations.

There are several different variations of dice games, but the most popular ones are probably Craps, Yatzu, Dice Poker, Sic Bo, and Backgammon. In the next chapter, we'll take a closer look at the rules of the Craps dice game.

Craps Rules - How to Play the Dice Game?

Craps is a very popular casino game where players bet on the outcome of one or more dice rolls. In a dice game, two dice are rolled and can be played against either other players or the house.

In Craps, players take turns rolling two dice and the shooter is called the shooter. The shooter throws the dice against the wall and all players can bet on the combined result of the dice's eyes. The shooter's first roll of the dice is called "come out." Before this role, however, players place their “pass line” bet, meaning that players will win if the total number of dice in the dice becomes seven or eleven. If, on the other hand, the numbers in the “come out” roll become two, three, or twelve (craps), the players lose. Other results are called “point”.

After a “Come out” roll, the shooter continues to roll the dice until the number is seven or the same as the first roll. If the number seven comes out before the same point number means that the players lose their bets. Similarly, if the thrower manages to roll the same number of eyes again before throwing the number of eyes to seven, the players win. In time, Craps may stretch for a long time if a player fails to throw a number of seven or the same number of points.

Is there any strategy for the dice game then? There is no strategy in Craps, it is based on probabilities, but the player should pay attention to their bets. We will tell you more about these in the next paragraph.

Dice bets and house advantage as a percentage

Bad bets in the Craps dice game

Field bet (5.55%): Field bet is one of the most common and popular bets in Craps. The player bets that the shooter will roll the number two, three, four, nine, ten, private, or twelve. The player wins the bet if one of these numbers reads the dice.

Big 6 / Big 8 (9.09%): The player bets that the dice will be either six or eight before the shooter rolls the dice to seven.

Horn / Horn high (12.5%): Not considered a good bet as the house advantage is really great. In a horn bet, the bet is placed so that it is split between the numbers two, three, eleven, and twelve.

BOXCARS / 12 (13%): The player bets that the dice will result in either two or twelve. The advantage of the house is so great that the player ends up losing it in the long run.

ANY 7 (16.67%): High-risk bet as it only applies to the first round. If the number of dice becomes seven as soon as the player has placed a bet, the player wins. The bet does not apply to subsequent rounds.
